The Sete Cidades circuit is one of the most famous in the region, being one of the seven natural wonders of Portugal.

You can find the contrast between the green of nature and the black of the volcanic origin in Ponta da Ferraria, where we suggest a bath in the pool where the cold water of the ocean mixes with the hot water of the thermal spring.

From the viewpoint of Escalvado you can see Ponta da Ferraria and the islets of Mosteiros, heading to the quiet parish of Sete Cidades.

The view over Lagoa Azul at the Miradouro do Cerrado das Freiras is followed by the famous view of the Lagoa das Sete Cidades at Vista do Rei.

The circuit continues through the beautiful landscapes of the Canário and Empadadas lagoons, culminating in the Pico do Carvão Viewpoint where you will find a panoramic view of the North and South sides of the island.
